What this is
Presold Workshops runs ticketed workshops and classes across Greater Houston and the surrounding counties. We partner with local instructors, studios, and venues. They teach what they are good at. We sell the seats, handle the buyers, and pay the partner from ticket sales before the class happens.
How it works for partners
- We agree a class, a date, and a seat minimum together.
- We list the class on Eventbrite and sell the tickets. You do no marketing unless you want to.
- The class runs only if the minimum sells by 7 days before the date. If it does not, every buyer is refunded in full and it costs you nothing.
- You are paid your agreed fee or rate from the ticket sales before class day. We never ask partners for deposits or upfront money.
- On the day, you teach. We handle signups, reminders, the roster, and refunds.
What partners get
- No risk: a held date is released a full week ahead if the minimum misses.
- No cost: no listing fees, no deposits, no marketing spend.
- New customers: a room full of local people who paid to learn what you teach.
- Repeatable: classes that fill can run again on the same terms.
For attendees
Every class lists its seat minimum up front. If the minimum is not reached by 7 days before the date, the class is cancelled and your ticket is refunded in full. No games, and no store credit instead of a refund.
Outdoor classes list a backup weather date on their ticket page before tickets go on sale. If weather cancels a class and the backup date cannot run, every ticket is refunded in full.
Where things stand
Presold Workshops is a new program, launched in October 2026, and our first classes are being scheduled with partners now. If you are an instructor, studio, or venue in Greater Houston or the surrounding counties and you teach something people would pay to learn in a small group, we would like to talk.
Teach something? Talk to us.
Partners and instructors: email us or call. One conversation is enough to see if a class fits.
